create my own movie intro. 4 years 6 months ago #67

can someone tell how to create a intro for my home theater?
so that when i start my movies the first thing will be the intro like the IMAX intro, but with my

You can use Windows Movie maker and import the video then add text or whatever you want to overlay the video background. Works great!!! I do it for the welcome screen at church. I'm sure there are other programs that will do other cool things but hey, it's free. :-)

I use ANIMOTO (www.animoto.com) for my intros. It's free if your intro is 30 seconds or less.
simply add photos etc and Animoto creates an intro, you can change intro if you don't like it. I use an intro for my Fantasy Soccer website and i have the same 30 second intro for each "results" update page - the intro music used was written by me an its my UKFSC theme song.
here's a look at my intro made using Animoto. (first 17 seconds of it is Animoto intro)

I simply used a loop from here and overlayed it with the name of the forum I use for discussing the content to be found on the video - but I'll do it to each video I produce.
